What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
Tutoring is rewarding & enjoyable because I love seeing students understand tough concepts. Helping them build confidence and making a positive impact on their learning journey is what I enjoy most. I also enjoy tutoring as it allows me to help students with concepts that I once also needed help with and by tutoring Iโm able to repay the efforts I once got from tutoring myself.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
My strengths would include being determined to help my students be able to understand the concepts as well as they can and thatโd require my full effort which I would love to give, Iโd count that as a strength. Another strength would be that I like to prepare before I teach a concept to students hence the pre class preparation is a skill Iโd count useful
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
The most important think a tutor can do for their student is make sure they know the content that theyโre teaching and ask the student whether they understand the concept being taught or not. Speaking from personal experiences Iโd have loved and really appreciated if my tutor knew the content they were teaching and had asked me whether I understood the content. Another really important thing a tutor can do for their student is ask their students to engage and not just listen throughout the whole period.
