I enjoy watching and facilitating a student's improvement and growth. Helping someone gain confidence in a subject they once found challenging is incredibly rewarding. I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student is firstly to understand and figure out which methods of teaching work best with the students as each of them are different. Once those are found, applying them in a way where the student feels comfortable and supported in the lessons is also key, breaking down complex topics and providing encouragement along the way. This helps to build self confidence and independence in the topics, fostering a growth mindset. Setting a comfortable environment where they can ask tutors questions and making mistakes by actively listening.
