What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being part of a student's journey to success and preparing the next generation of students to learn effectively and excel in the future
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have been tutored before and experienced several excellent methods that have helped break down difficult concepts, which I have then used to help friends learn concepts they struggle with. Another strength I have is being able to quickly distinguish if a child understands a concept the way I am teaching them and if not, being able to quickly change how I teach them or simplify the information into more understandable language.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Support the students no matter how much they struggle, constantly check in on their understanding and their concentration, share their own experiences and struggles with students and form a connection with the students so that they can trust the tutor and be more open on their academic struggles.

Struggled a bit on the cubic inequalities and how to find the equation of a quartic function from 4 points but after some careful explaining of how we solved equations similar to these ones back when we covered quadratics, Daniel was able to understand and solve the equations without much difficulty.

Dalha was able to accurately remember how to solve the indices questions with just some simple algebraic mistakes. He was also able to quickly pick up on how to solve surd equations after having some difficulties prior to the lesson
Just a few times Dalha forgot how to do the surd questions but it was for questions that had larger values but similar principles to the smaller value questions.

I noticed Danoon was frequently looking at his notes/bound reference a bit too much, indicating not an appropriate amount of revision/practice while out of lessons. As such, I have provided some tips to Danoon to help him revise the content more thoroughly and also given more homework to go over

Daniel was very confident that even though he lost a lot of marks in the test, they were all minor issues and can easily be rectified before his exams and next sac. Daniel was able to do most questions without issue.
A few questions Daniel got a bit confused on such as which direction a square root graph was when its equation was slightly different to the general form and a tricky unknown variable question but after some explaining and smaller examples, Daniel was able to understand how to deal with those types of questions.
