What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Working with students, and helping them grow and improve in more than just test results. To go into more details, I like exploring concepts that I have been curious about throughout my life, and hopefully spark some interest in them to engage more mental fortitude and development (outside of just teaching the syllabus of course).My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I emphasize on building on strong foundations. There are tutors out there that run through exam solutions and many questions to 'push' students recognize certain patterns associated with questions (rather than understanding the theory thoroughly). These problems occur because there is only so much time, and the students haven't taken their time to build up previous knowledge and applications. I think I can drive theory into their learning curriculum easily (giving examples, where it is used etc.) to give them a deeper understanding to a certain concept, before also going through a lot of q's.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Teach them to forge their own path. Each and every student has their own strengths, and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. Tutors should never just repeat what worked for them, or urge a student onto a path they believe is correct. Rather, as a tutor, you are a catalyse to the student's growth, you help them explore their options, development their understanding and guide them along the path they want to walk on.Subjects Tutored 🎓
