What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. With over a year of experience teaching Math, SAT Math, and 1.5 years teaching IELTS, I find it rewarding to tailor my approach to each student's needs, whether it's helping them master complex math concepts or guiding them through the IELTS exam. The most fulfilling part is seeing students overcome challenges and experience those "aha" moments when they truly understand the material
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
One of my strengths as a tutor is my strong academic background, having graduated from the top high school in Vietnam, along with achieving a SAT score of 1500 and an IELTS score of 8.5. I was also fortunate to receive offers from two Ivy League schools, which reflects my dedication and academic ability. With 2 years of tutoring experience, Iβve developed a patient and adaptable teaching style, allowing me to tailor lessons to each studentβs needs. I focus on creating a positive, motivating environment that helps students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. This includes not only teaching the material but also building the student's confidence and motivation. A tutor should be patient and adaptable, recognizing that every student learns differently and adjusting their approach accordingly. It's also crucial to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, so they can approach challenges independently. Ultimately, a tutor should inspire a love for learning and equip students with the tools they need.
