What I love most about tutoring is the opportunity it provides to quickly identify curriculum areas to work on and directly tailor the lesson content for every pupil. This enables faster progress for pupils, and seeing this academic development take place is very rewarding.

My strengths as a tutor include my ability to provide patient encouragement and positive reinforcement during my lessons. Building rapport with pupils is an important element of my tutoring, as it enables me to better encourage an attitude of positivity and persistence towards school work. Pupil development is further assisted by my extensive knowledge of the primary maths and English curriculum, which enables me to rapidly adapt both my teaching style and the contents of the lesson to best suit each pupil.
