What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to make complex ideas seem manageable and easier to understand. Also being able to share my love of particular subjects to other students.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have patience and understand the frustration one might feel when they don’t understand a particular topic straight away. As someone who’s gone to many different tutors before, I now have experience on what the best teaching approach is and how to encourage students in their own learning journey. I also do whatever it takes to ensure I can explain a particular concept as best as possible, rather than simply explaining for the sake of my job.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As I’ve briefly mentioned in my previous questions, I believe clear communication as well as having empathy and patience are vital skills for a tutor to have. Also having an overall optimistic teaching style where students feel encouraged and inspired whilst learning is also important, as tutors can have a strong impact on a student’s feelings/outlook towards a subject.
