What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to connect with my students and understand them better. Identifying their strengths is a valuable tool in making my sessions both effective and engaging. Additionally, being able to witness the improvements made by my students is extremely rewarding!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strength as a tutor lies in being observant and adaptable to my student’s behaviours and needs during our sessions. For example, if a student appears distracted, I can use multiple strategies to find what works best for them, such as giving them some space, adjusting my teaching approach, or incorporating topics that interest them in our sessions.

The most important thing a tutor should do for their students is to create an engaging learning environment which is tailored to each student’s needs and interests. This is done so by initiating and forging a bond with the students to better understand them and their needs. I believe a positive and interactive tutoring atmosphere leads to a better learning opportunities than simply following lessons by the book.
