What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think being able to tutor my friends with their little doubts or my younger brothers with their troubles has really helped me value the so called “light bulbâ€ moment where they understand the concept and do the next question on their own really makes you understand the immense impact that a few minutes can have on a person’s learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think being able to have the privilege to move schools in Year 9 really taught me how to adapt to new working environments, new teachers and even a friend group. This works really well in tutoring as I believe that each child has a different way they learn, and thus there is no one correct approach to teach and that you have to be dynamic in your teaching style to teach Economics and Maths.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is for the tutor to be able to teach the student a topic conceptually so that they are ready to answer any type of question under exam conditions. More so, with economics I think the most important thing is for the tutor to teach each topic holistically so that they are able to understand the implications of every thing in order to be able to answer essay questions that are quite time pressured in nature.
