What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to have an impact on students and aid them in achieving their academic goals. It fills my heart when a former student informs me that they secured admission to their dream university due to my assistance (at least partly).

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can understand students and their struggles, especially that my age is usually close to my students' ages. I can also strike a balance between having some fun and doing the work. I am also great at following up and coordinating with the students, their parents, and the institute I worked with. I also encourage independence and critical thinking so that the student does not become too reliant on external help.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Most importantly, a tutor must understand the student's individual needs and tailor the teaching methods accordingly. Also, the tutor should help instill confidence and motivation in the student, especially that many students face low self-esteem when they struggle in a subject. Finally, it is the tutor's responsibility to create a safe and supportive environment for the student, where asking questions and making mistakes is encouraged, rather than frowned upon.
