I was in the shoes of a math student not long ago, so I vividly remember the agony and pain of not understanding a concept in maths and how this takes a toll when learning future content. This enables me to provide students with the support that actually suits school aged students and sympathise with them at a personal level. What I do as a tutor is providing those "aha!" moments to the students and enabling them to think outside the box. In maths, it is especially important to be able to connect concepts and understand how each aspect comes into play.
