Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To just listen. As counterintuitive as it sounds, listening is more important than teaching. As a tutor one must fully grasp what the student wants and needs and how they best learn. To be able to pick up on non verbal cues if the student is too shy or uncomfortable to ask for help. Everyone learns best in a different way, so a tutor needs to be able to create a game plan that can best help the student.
