What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think academic success is incredibly important not only to set a student up to have a successful future, but also to give them something to be proud of themselves about. Struggling in school is something so many students deal with and is something so many of them are ashamed about when in reality its something most kids so through at some point. Tutoring help them succeed in their studies and gives them the confidence that they are more than what they struggle with and they can their weaknesses and there are people there for them along the way to help them do it.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I catch on to material very quickly, I know how to explain things a multitude of different ways and come up with comparisons and analogies to help students grasp subjects they have issues understanding, and I take the time to listen to how the student is understanding the content to build upon what they already know and pinpoint where issues may be coming from on a larger scale.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing any tutor or teacher can do is learn about different learning styles. Not everyone can fully understand a topic by reading about it in a book, and some people get overwhelmed and shut down when they're thrown in the deep end. Getting to know the student your helping, and working with them in a way that works for them as an individual not only helps them in in the best way with what they're struggling on today, but it can help them learn how to help themselves with what they might struggle with tomorrow.Subjects Tutored 🎓
