What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is making a positive difference in the lives of students by watching them grow and succeed. You can think of this as the seed in a plant representing the students weakness while the plant’s growth representing the student growing from mistakes. On top of this, providing a helping hand to students by developing a friendly relationship helps them face problems with less fear and be more confident in their abilities. I also enjoy teaching mathematical concepts through making learning seem more fun for students who seem to find math a subject which is challenging.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience is a strength whereby when a student is encountering a problem the ability to remain calm as a tutor helps ensure the student has hope in their abilities in solving a problem correctly. You can think of patience as a key which helps unlock a student’s full potential. Another strength of mine is having empathy. Being able to place myself in the shoes of a student helps the journey for a student to become less tiring. Think of empathy as the ability to motivate someone to complete tasks. Other strengths involves adaptability where I’m able to adjust to what style suits students best.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
From the perspective of a tutor, the most important thing that they should be able to do for a student is to be able to tailor their teaching style to the student to ensure they are able to fill the gaps where the student’s knowledge is of less confidence. Also, to be able to build in confidence amongst the student through explaining complex concepts in simplistic ways to help students develop a love for learning with less fear.
