What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the feeling of the overwhelming amount of effort I put in to get the best grades be useful for something more than just my degree. It makes me so proud to see a student I tutor bring back results increasingly better than the last time I saw them. Though I must say, the thing I enjoy most is watching the face of understanding wash over a student as I explain something in a way that I wish someone explained to me when I was their age.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have always had an intense dedication to doing well at school but despite long hours of work put in, I didn't always get the best results, until I started applying methods that I am now willing to hand down to those I tutor. I am able to recognise the way a child learns and adapt my tactics based on what they will best understand. I think the most important quality in a tutor is not who is the most naturally intelligent but someone who has been through the struggle and understands which points in a learning experience are the most difficult and why.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing is to be simple - not confuse the child with an overwhelming amount of information but rather take things slowly and ask directed questions to take them to each step of the answer.
