What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My favorite part of tutoring is making the complicated subjects easy and manageable. To have a hand in guiding someone to seeing that "aha" moment, that light bulb, is an incredibly rewarding moment. I also love tutoring and believe in custom methods for individual learning styles. Best part is watching learners grow in confidence and understanding!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can simplify complicated topics very well. I am extremely flexible with the ability to modify my approach to suit what works best for the learner. I am patient and create a relaxing atmosphere in class. If a student wants to ask something, he must feel free to do that. I would say the best weapon in my arsenal is active listening; hearing where a kiddo may be getting stuck, and adjusting how I teach accordingly. I also strive to present the material in an interesting and engaging way, by linking the concepts I discuss to real-world applications.

A tutor should help lead a student to get the deepest understanding of what they are learning, gain confidence, and then tailor their approach to how that individual learns. Tutors thereby ensure that the student understands concepts properly, promotes active learning and facilitates sustained academic well-being.
