What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The thing that I enjoy most about tutoring would undoubtedly be getting to see the growth of my students! It's a very rewarding feeling when you know that someone has improved and gotten better scores because of your teaching. Getting to personally observe the growth and hurdles my students face first hand makes me love my job the most and motivates me to keep going!
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor would be getting to know the students weaknesses and strengths beyond them as a student, and being able to adapt to any learning style quickly. Often students have a lot of factors that stop them from achieving their goals such as stress and anxiety, so getting to know a bit more about the student helps me understand their learning style better to better maximize their results. I believe that every student has a different way of learning, and having the ability to adapt to different styles can help them achieve their maximum potential.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is understand their true needs. Sometimes students need more than just a teacher who is repeating themselves to help them understand things. Tutors should be trying different techniques and approaches that better suit that student, and understand the weaknesses of that student to better help them. Its important that the tutor makes the class engaging for the student, as the only way that the student can fully learn effectively is if they enjoy the tutoring class. Additionally, tutors need to be very patient with their students.

She was able to learn really quickly to the new techniques and content. Also really good at writing all her working out and showing her steps sequentially. By the end she was able to do the harder perimeter questions on her own and dissect the worded problems by herself too with very little guidance.
Some more practice needs to be done on circumference and arc length questions as its a very tricky topic to understand the first time.
