What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I gain great satisfaction seeing kids overcome challenges and have that 'aha' moment as this problem-solving ability is crucial for their High School studies but in life as well. Turning a subject from something students dread into something they look forward to is very rewarding.

My previous experience as a football coach and casual tutoring for family friends and my siblings has shown me the importance of breaking down complex problems and explaining them visually. Being patient and taking a personal approach allows for the communication of these concepts to be conveyed effectively.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Building confidence is key especially for kids perhaps afraid to fail or to try something new. Ensuring that the learning process with all its challenges is an enjoyable and rewarding experience is extremely important. Making evident the progress and achievement along the way is crucial to facilitate this experience.
