What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable thing about tutoring is the joy on the child's face once they understand something. It is often hard work for them, and to finally push through and understand the material or complete the task is fantastic. I love giving them the opportunity to go beyond their own expectations and prove their talent, it is so rewarding to show a child just how amazing they can be.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am skilled in connecting with each individual child and working with them to find the best way they learn as often each child is different. I am compassionate and patient, letting their learning set the pace for progress instead of forcing them to reach certain goals by certain times. I have a positive attitude which sets a fun and safe environment to learn in so the child can make mistakes without judgment.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is give them a personalised teaching experience. Often there are other factors at play in the progress of a student's learning than just their mental ability. Being able to recognise and connect to the child will open up numerous learning pathways to allow them to reach their full potential. This not only gives them personalised study skills specific to their learning style but also builds confidence and resilience in a fun and safe learning environment.
