What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable thing about being a tutor is when your student gains confidence in their abilities and themselves. It is a rewarding feeling when they have that 'aha!' moment of realisation, that proves the viability of your teaching methods and in turn, their improved understanding of concepts.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor and person are my strong communication and organisational skills. I enjoy interacting with people, and helping them improve their skills. I also have an excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding as I graduated last year with a band 6 in HSC Mathematics Advanced and Business Studies, as well as high band 5s in the rest of my subjects, including PDHPE, English Advanced and Design and Technology.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that the most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is ensure that their personal learning needs are being met, and they feel supported throughout their educational journey. It is important for a tutor to believe in their student's abilities and encourage them to do their best, so that the student feels uplifted and motivated. This will not only improve all aspects of their wellbeing, but their productivity as well.
