What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy tutoring because my mother, who is a tutor, taught me effective teaching methods and how to efficiently clarify students' doubts. She allowed me to teach her Year 7 physics students for about five months. Since then, I have been teaching computer science and physics. I find engaging with students to clear their doubts and misconceptions rewarding, often by explaining concepts in more intricate ways. Maintaining an amiable aura has always helped students absorb concepts more easily.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being a tutor in my Year 9 of my school tenure, I experienced that confidence and effective communication are the key to succeed as a tutor. It is because my confidence was the reason to approach students and clarify there doubts and misconceptions where they needed and where I felt that they weren't able to get what I am trying to teach. Second is communication as being efficient in communication has a significant role to play to translate the bookish jargons into the understandable means.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to guide them and correct their mistakes. This is essential because incorrect approaches can hinder their learning. By providing clear guidance and constructive feedback, a tutor helps students build a solid foundation and develop confidence in their abilities.
