What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students adopt a growth mindset, teaching them that there's nothing they can't get better at. I aim to help students believe in their ability to learn and improve, and to feel proud of their progress. I also enjoy providing the same supportive environment that helped me achieve so much as a kid.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths lie in my patience, understanding, and adaptability. Having experienced the challenge of learning new concepts myself, I've developed a great deal of patience, which I can extends to my students. My personal learning journey has made me adept at approaching problems from various angles. Because I learn in different ways, I can empathize with students who have diverse learning styles and adapt my teaching methods to suit their individual needs.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to be empathetic. I remember my own struggles with learning and the shame that discouraged me from trying. I want my students to feel that their personal needs are important and to understand that intelligence isn't measured by the time or effort it takes to learn something.
