What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I get to share the techniques that I use for my own study habits which I know are effective and efficient. Furthermore, I see knowledge as a very powerful tool, therefore, being able to relay them to the future generation is as important as acquiring them for myself.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to compartmentalize well, and simplify complex theories and concepts. Furthermore, I came from a prestigious science high school back home, and so my exposure to this field has been vast and deep for years now.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having compassion. Being proficient in a subject does not guarantee that the student will understand as deeply as the tutor. Sometimes, techniques won't work, or the student may have problems outside of academics. Being compassionate will outweigh any other things that a tutor can do at the end of the day.

Education

I graduated top of my class in Primary School, and went to a specialized science high school -- Philippine Science High School -- for my secondary education wherein I chose Chemistry as my core subject. I have participated in numerous Science and Math Quiz Bowls, Essay Writing and Journalism Competitions, and contests relating to the Arts and Music.

Hobbies and Extra-curricular Activities

I have always sought to be a well-rounded individual and so growing up, I have been part of numerous dance groups and participated in dance workshops as well. Moreover, I was part of the choir in high school and was an officer for our campus' Model United Nations. I have led and was part of various national youth-led organizations and school clubs as well.
