I have a passion for mathematics, physics, and chemistry subjects (with a 99.4 ATAR in 2023 – achieving 99% in specialist maths, 98% in methods maths and 94% in physics and chemistry) and would enjoy the opportunity to assist students reach their full potential while studying at school. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to give them encouragement to explore and believe in their own abilities. It is equally important to take the time to discover how the student learns best and make sure that they understand the concept and are not just memorising the answer. This can be achieved with interactive learning by asking the student to explain the concept that they have learnt.
