What I enjoy most about this job is being able to truly make a difference in the lives of individual students who are navigating their ways through the difficult years of school. I graduated high school with an ATAR of 94.3, with study scores above 40 in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry, and I would love to be able to use my knowledge to help another student succeed. But ultimately, I recognise my students as being more than just their grades, so I always hope to be a kind and reassuring figure that they will feel comfortable to approach about anything.Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing that a tutor can do is to be non-judgemental and to genuinely believe that each and every student will succeed.
