What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

While I have not properly tutored anyone, I have helped many classmates grasp ideas throughout high school and college. These range from algebra, calculus, organic chemistry, and basic science in general. I enjoy tutoring because it is very satisfying to see the change in mindset from dismay to "this is so easy its starting to feel fun". There is not many other jobs where you can get this same experience which is why i'd like to try it out.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I can break ideas down very simply using analogies and visuals, allowing students to enjoy studying. Don't make it too stressful but enough to make them learn and understand that what they are learning is relevant in real life. I.e, showing them how subjects like algebra are applied in life - which was not explained by my teachers.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Provide an actual genuine relationship so the student can understand that the tutor is not simply there to teach but to talk to about anything. In my experience learning always works best when everyone can feel comfortable asking questions. When I was at school, any classroom that undervalued asking questions was bleak and difficult to grasp meaningful ideas. Not just in my experience but everyone in the classes.
