What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is the ability to form friendships with my students whilst tutoring them. I believe forming these relationships are key to the growth of these students both inside and outside the academic sphere. Not only this, when a student succeeds within the classroom, that feeling is extremely rewarding given that you have that interpersonal relationship with them. This friendship also further motivates me to work hard for my students, so that they can experience success in the classroom.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor is my organisational and communication skills. I believe these skills are extremely compatible with the characteristics tutors need to be successful. Communication is key for the tutor-student relationship, in order for the student to truly understand content, the tutor must be clear, concise and thorough in the explanation of content, this I believe being one of my strengths. Furthermore, my strong organisational skills means that I will be able to form a plan that cohesively attributes time to address the student's weaknesses, and sharpen their strengths.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can provide for a student is support both inside and outside of academics. Tutors can positively impact students both inside and outside the classroom, as student wellbeing should be one of the core concerns of the tutor. Whilst academics should be a priority, the tutor student relationship is also a vital component of having a tutor.
