What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have tutored primary school students with reading difficulties for two years. The most enjoyable aspect of this role was seeing my students' confidence and abilities grow. It was very rewarding to know that my guidance was improving their literacy and I felt grateful to be able to help.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
In my previous work as a tutor, I was commended for being kind and personable with my students. I believe it is important to show respect for your student by always being punctual and engaging in conversation to build a professional bond. I am very compassionate, which I believe is important because studying can be challenging and as a tutor, my role would be identifying my student's issues and addressing them with care. Others would describe me as hardworking and thorough, and I can promise to go above and beyond in my preparation for tutoring sessions and my follow-up work.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can give a student is confidence. This can be done by targeting the student's weaknesses and improving these areas so that the student feels more proficient. Another important thing that a tutor can provide is motivation. This can be done by reassuring and supporting a student through a potentially challenging area of study.
