What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is being apart of the students journey towards becoming the best academic version of themself possible. The difference between students who have a tutor compared to those that don't is significant and I believe having a tutor in specific subjects such as English and Mathematics, could be the difference of receiving a pass or fail grade.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength as a tutor would be my ability to communicate and express ideas, formulas, and questions to develop and challenge the students academic knowledge behind the subject. Also, as I am currently studying to become a Commercial Pilot, professional practice is crucial towards achieving success. Not only in the Aviation industry does this apply, but in almost every industry in the world. Although I am 19 years of age and some people would see that as immature, I believe it shouldn't be someone's age which determines their maturity but instead their state of mind and choices they make.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
There are many important things a tutor can do for their students however, the greatest thing is being a supportive role model. If the student is able to respect and understand their tutor, there is a high chance that student looks up to that tutor. Therefore, it is important that the tutor can develop a professional relationship with the student which in return will support the students learning and engagement with content. I personally see a tutor as more of a role model and someone to aspire to become which is why it is important tutors are professional in their practice.
