I feel each interaction with a student is an adventure. You explore their various personalities, likes/dislikes. The journey of understanding them to be able to get through to them is something I enjoy the most. The rewarding culmination of them feeling understood and finally being able to understand, is a unmatched high that I keep going back to.

I feel as someone who's been raised in challenging circumstances, I am able to often empathies more which pairs thoroughly with my high patience levels. Its only when the student is willing to process and intake what is being tutored to him will he feel engrossed and make the time worthwhile and I feel with my empathic approach I can often scale this barrier.

A tutor must make themselves approachable and be a role model figure to their students. As someone they have a more personalized time space with compared to their school teachers, the students are often likely to look up to their tutors as figures of inspiration and personal ceilings. It is our duty as these figures to not just live up to their expectations but to push them to go beyond their ceilings and achieve greater heights.
