What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Although i do not have any experience in established and structured tutoring i have always been the friend in class that is asked how to explain the work and it's something i genuinely enjoy. The thing i love most about it is the moment when i can tell it's clicked with them and they truly understand it because i can relate to that moment myself and it's one of my favourite feelings.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I would say my main strength as a tutor is my ability to understand and relate to where the student is coming from as i have been there and still am there. I am able to understand the way that teachers teach are not always the right approach for young students and i'm able to identify the ways that i teach myself content in my head and apply this knowledge to teach the student. I also understand that sometimes when learning the students will say they understand when they don't actually get it so i'm able to see this and help them work through this until they are confident.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to truly understand each individuals strengths, weaknesses and learning styles to adapt and cater for these specific needs. I also believe in creating a love for learning through empowering students to become problem solvers in all aspects of their lives.
