What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is when things start to click for the students I am helping and they begin to understand what they were struggling with. I love seeing them improve and them getting excited that they are learning.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor are that I am able to adapt quickly, I am patient and kind, and put in extra effort to ensure I am able to be a good tutor. I am able to teach things in multiple ways and shift how I explain concepts so each individual student understands, and take my time to ensure they aren't getting confused or frustrated. If I am unsure about something, I am honest about it and will put in extra time to find out what I don't know so I can better assist students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to guide them and give them strategies so they are able to learn and comprehend material with less assistance over time. I also think it is important to assist them in a way that gets them thinking, whether that is by asking them questions or working through problems so they can have small moments of success where they are excited to learn and improve.
