What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Definitely has to be seeing my students succeed and achieving their individual goals due to their hard work that they've put in. It's one of the most rewarding things a tutor can experience, as they see realise how much their teaching can shape a student's academic journey.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having some informal tutoring experience, I realise how students start at varying levels, learn at different paces, and most importantly, have different goals in set in mind. I can confidently alter my tutoring style to tailor all types of students, such that their learning experience and my teaching effectiveness is at a maximum to guide students to their full potential. This includes providing questions with all levels of difficulty, setting proper working out, teaching in a clearer and concise manner, all whilst offering the same amount of enthusiasm.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As people are all different, so are students. Some openly asks questions, while others tend to shy away. It is up to the tutor to recognise, reassure, and make decisions based on their students in order for tutoring to be enjoyable and rewarding. A tutor must also possess the capacity to excel in these subjects, to ensure that they are confident in their ability to teach the fundamentals that is required for students to excel. Positive attitudes like an eagerness to expand written and verbal communication skills with their students is essential, especially when explaining complex concepts.
