What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Witnessing a student's thrill of accomplishment when they achieve their goal, has to be what I'd say is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. Aside from that, getting to know my students as well as being able to educate them on what I'm passionate about in a way that students not only excel in their exams but also life as a whole.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor revolve around the multitude of experiences I have garnered in the high school system. Graduating from the state's top highschool ( North Sydney Boys High), I know all the tips and tricks they hold in the environment to achieve success. Furthermore, being in the industry for 2 years my ability to relate with the student by building rapport for a safe and captivating environment through several techniques I have received from formal training aids my tutoring.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
My role as a tutor is not to manufacture a result, it is only to facilitate the student's journey in learning. This is why the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is guide them through their own journey, being present with them in times of difficulty to instruct and clarify questions they need answered most. This extends beyond just education as forming a mentor-mentee bond is vital for moral and academic support. Whether it be Guiding a student through providing multiple resources or 12 am text backs about a question they're stuck on, commitment is essential.
