What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping out students who were like me when I was younger, struggling with achieving their goals but continuously attempting to better themselves. I enjoy being able to witness students grow and develop their skills and the feeling of accomplishment they demonstrate after all their hard work paying off. Overall, it's that realisation/light bulb moment a student finally gets after not understanding a concept they have tried to learn for so long.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have very high levels of patience and am able to go over/re address the same issue multiple times in multiple different ways. This allows for the successful learning of difficult concepts. I also have the ability to change my tutoring style per each student as I understand that each person has their own unique ways of learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
In the past, I have had bad experiences with tutors and what I have learnt to never do which occurred to me is express frustration or put down a student. I remember being 7 years old and having a texture thrown at me for not being able to say a word. From these terrible experiences I underwent as a child and pre-teen I have learnt the importance of never giving up on students, remaining patient and always attempting to think of new ways which help each student learn individually.
