What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like being a mentor to the students. Their faces light up when they get something, and it's fun to be by their side when you know they're on the cusp of getting something. The whole process is fun when the student is eager to learn and finds it fun. And I like making it fun.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I make learning a bit more laid back and approachable. My strength is in relating high-level topics back to something relatable for the kids. For example, what's the point of calculus? A. Calculus can be thought of as the maths of change. Why does gravity pull an apple down, but not the moon? Well, that's because gravity changes. At what point is that change? Well, calculus is how we find that point. More accurately, it finds how gravity changes over a whole span of infinitely small points, like a gradient.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Be approachable and pay attention. It's very hard to put your own worldview aside when it comes to knowledge, and many people are likely not even cognisant of that, but you need to understand that you know things that the child doesn't even know what they don't know.Subjects Tutored 🎓
