What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I guess having fun with the students and in some ways understanding how each year group thinks. Some of my students are really playful and therefore always want me to be in their break time. Another aspect I enjoy would be able to share my experiences and learning to the new generation which I hope they can use it better.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Being genuine and being able to be a teacher who appears as someone they can approach to is what I would pride myself as a tutor. Some of my students told me they enjoyed my classes rather than their schooling. Maybe because I am sometimes too lenient but in the end, I wish my students can find a place where they can feel easy and at the same time try to improve their academic skills.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor or at least a teacher is someone who can give students a helping hand, perhaps a friend is too informal but someone they can relate to. I think being able to understand your student and what makes them improve or how they can improve is also essential as a tutor and a teacher. It is useless to spoon feed facts and knowledge to a student if they do not understand the concepts in front of them. The tutor's role is to explain it better or at least help them navigate and bridge the concepts which is being taught to them.
