What do I enjoy most about tutoring? šŸ˜

The most enjoyable and rewarding aspect of tutoring is the sense of happiness and fulfilment that comes from being able to pass on my own knowledge in a way that will help another student in his schooling years, which can often be quite harsh and stressful. This combined with seeing my student start to become more comfortable and begin to excel in the subject Iā€™m teaching makes the experience even more worthwhile.

My Strengths as Tutor šŸ’Ŗ

I think that my biggest strength is my ability to fully understand the level and requirements of my tutee after only a few minutes with them, and then use my communication skills to effectively and clearly break down concepts to make sure that my tutee can easy understand new information. Another strength is that I can develop the way my tutee studies - giving them specific techniques on how to prepare for certain topics and subjects in the most efficient manner.

Most important things I can do for a student šŸ…

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do is to teach material in such a fashion that it makes the subject enjoyable for a tutee. This will allow the student to be more positive and motivated to working harder for a subject, but more importantly, it reframes their mindset to see the work they must do as less of a burden and more as a pleasant activity. Another important aspect is patience, especially when a tutee makes a simple mistake or forgets easy concepts, as this prevents you from spreading negativity and demotivating the student.
