What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I believe that being a tutor would channel my passion for sharing knowledge and helping others. Helping other people in understanding a material is something I love to do, especially in teaching. I like explaining step-by-step until people could solve the Mathematical problem, as it provides a personal satisfaction for me to see them happy when being able to solve the problems. I also love to share knowledge ever since I was little. As such, many of my friends would ask me questions when they are not able to solve the problems.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am determined, patient, considerate and have good communication skills. I can use different methods to help students understand and create engagements in discussions. For example, if students can’t answer a question, I would give them hints and help them come to the right answer themselves to help them actually learn the concepts and have a thorough understanding.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I would say that a tutor should tailor the teaching style to each individual student when doing a 1-on-1 teaching. Each student has a different pace of learning and has different ways to grasp the materials. In my view, it is also important that tutors do not give immediate answers but provide guides to help students get to the answer themselves.
