What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I am deeply passionate about facilitating the learning journey for others and possess a strong confidence in my ability to convey information to students with precision and impact. I enjoy assisting students in unlocking their hidden talents and passions for their subjects and encouraging them to achieve their personal best. I want to see them succeed and flourish in not just their academics but also their overall all-rounded growth as an individual. I take pride in contributing to their success and aim for impactful lessons that foster a well-rounded development in every individual.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Drawing from my experiences as a private tutor during my Preliminary and HSC years, I have honed exceptional time management and the ability to prioritise my responsibilities. I was the Vice-Captain of high school and prior to that, I had three consecutive years of experience in the SRC, this has built up my communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. My adaptability to changing situations and empathetic approach were further refined during my roles as a maths mentor and peer mentor. Known for dedication and diligence, I consistently give my utmost effort, ensuring excellence in results.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing for a tutor is not just to address the inquiries of the students and create a positive studying environment. More importantly, it is to connect with all the students and make them feel safe and connected in class. This not only will assist in their ability to absorb the information but also allow them to not be afraid to ask questions and deepen their understanding. Additionally, creating a mutual trust with students fosters an environment where learning becomes a collaborative journey. This trust extends beyond the classroom, influencing the overall learning.
