What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I really enjoy being able to watch my students progress throughout the months with their work. Seeing them become more confident with the subject and find joy in their achievements is my favourite part.My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a Kumon and informal tutor (I support kids around the neighbourhood) I've had experience working with kids of different ages and skill levels. I also have an understanding of kids when it comes to the different phases of their learning because I have both struggled and triumphed. I strongly believe that a tutor's role is to build their students' confidence in taking control of their learning. This could be by encouraging them to approach difficult tasks or helping them design their study schedule.
