What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I began explaining concepts to my peers in high school as a supplementary way of consolidating and enhancing my own knowledge of different subject areas. As I kept up with this strategy, however, I found that I was just enjoying the process of disseminating information to others in a digestible and lucid way; I always felt a strong sense of pride and achievement when my time and effort in teaching others translated to them attaining higher and exceeding their own expectations.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I have a knack for educating and providing my students with the basis to improve and solve problems with the confidence and skills I've taught them. Communication, as a tutor, is key. And I would say I'm a great communicator that is able to adapt and express myself appropriately and clearly to students of different ages and demographics. Furthermore, I have always been a fast learner. This means I am adaptable, and resilient, and will be able to solve any problems my students are faced with.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I consider patience as a vital aspect in the process of tutoring. Fully grasping a complex concept can take a lot of time and effort. To be an effective tutor, I believe one should understand it is the little steps that helps one learn. I believe I can be that tutor for my students. I know I can develop a determined mindset in my students, so that they strive to improve. It is also extremely crucial for a tutor to listen and be attentive to their students. Every learner has different needs and struggles, and it is the role of the tutor to face it with them.
