What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Students always have the most interesting stories ever. I love creating new connections in class and listening to the students talking about their days, their lives, the obstacles they are facing in the learning journey. Those stories help me feel closer to the students, making a tighter, more personal bonds between us. Listening also can let me identify their problems better and lead them to the right paths to their study goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Listening is what I consider my greatest strength as a tutor. Often students have trouble with their study not because of their intelligence, but because they don't have anyone who is willing to listen to their questions. I find letting the students talking without interrupting them help tremendously in their journeys. Also, as someone who has taught really active teenagers and a younger sister, I have honed my patience for many years; therefore I have little trouble dealing with difficult students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A student needs support from the tutor. They need someone who not only shows them the way, but also believes in them, offers them encouragement, not give up on them and be by their side through the hardship. This is not to say a tutor has to blindly agree with their student. Right support is being concious and realistic of their problems, not to use their shortcoming against them but to come up with the appropriate solutions that can make real positive impacts on the student. As a student and tutor, I find support is all a student search for in a their teacher.
