What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to connect with students through knowledge. While my job is to provide them with information and ensure that they succeed in their studies, I think it is always important to understand the story of every student, so that we can tailor our advice/teacher to their needs. I also love being able to help people!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm a USYD student who graduated from WA, following HSC. I prioritize understanding the student's needs and their way of learning, as well as listening to student's feedback. Everyone learns differently. The tutor should be able to adapt his teaching/material based on that. I also ensure that my client's needs are met. In my past tutoring jobs, I do weekly checks of how the students found the content, to provide a safe space for them to give comments about my teaching, and how it can be more tailored to them. For kids, it is more about being able to understand what the kid wants.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My experience volunteering in shelter homes has provided me with humility and helped me realize helping people may be my calling. I also love to hear students' ways of tackling ideas, and rather than giving them solutions I prefer letting You should never give the student answers, you should ask them questions that allow them to use their way of thinking to reach the conclusion that they desire.
