What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy the confidence boost and smile that students get when they understand a new and complicated subject. The ability to make a difference on a student's academic journey in the same way that my teachers were able to influence mine is something that will bring me a lot of joy.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I believe my strengths as a tutor lie in my strong interpersonal skills, my recent experience as a student, and my ability to empathise with the challenges that students face. Having been a student just last year, I understand the stresses and academic pressures that students encounter. I've also personally experienced periods of low academic confidence. However, I've learned how to overcome these challenges and bring out the best in myself and others. This firsthand experience allows me to connect with students, provide effective guidance, and create a supportive learning environment.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to instill confidence. This confidence goes beyond just finding solutions to academic questions; it also extends to daily life. Building this confidence can help students develop resilience, which is crucial, especially during challenging exam periods. A tutor's role in nurturing this confidence can have a lasting impact on a student's overall growth and success.
