What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring gives me the feeling of being able to leave an impact on another person's life. It is a chance to show students that studying isn't as strenuous as it might seem. While tutoring is often thought to only benefit the recipient, I believe it also benefits the tutor. It allows the tutor to harness their leadership and communication skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, I maintain a flexible environment, trying different approaches with the students until I find the most suitable one. It is important to acknowledge that every student has differing learning styles. Wherever possible, I incorporate 'fun' aspects into my tutoring, whether making funny acronyms or out-of-the-box examples and metaphors. This makes it entertaining and memorable for the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing to be done, rather than jumping directly into the syllabus, is to listen to the students express their strengths and weaknesses in the subject. This is to be aware of where to allocate time with the student so we address what is most important and challenging to them.
