What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring gives me this feeling of being able to leave an impact on another person's life. Like I am making a difference. It is a chance to show students that the subjects they're studying are not as horrible as they think it to be. For example, I loved math during HIgh School, it was my favourite subject, and it was a little disheartening that many other of my classmates didn't share my opinions. Additionally, I believe that as much tutoring is benefiting others, it is benefiting me too. I gain the ability to harness and improve my leadership and communication skills.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I try different approaches with the students until we can decide the most suitable one from which they can benefit. Everyone has different learning styles, and it is important to acknowledge that when trying to teach someone else. I also like to incorporate 'fun' aspects into my tutoring styles, like making funny acronyms, so that it's entertaining for the student and thus easier to solidify the information.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing to be done, rather than jumping directly into the syllabus, is to listen to the students express their strengths and weaknesses in the subject. This is to be aware of where to allocate time with the student so we address what is most important and challenging to them.
