What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping others and seeing them succeed is what I enjoy about tutoring. There's something incredibly rewarding about sharing knowledge and watching students get more confident as they start to understand things better. In addition to taking the load off of students, especially when they're struggling with tough subjects. I experienced this while helping my younger brother with his studies. It showed me how much of a difference some extra support and guidance can make in reducing stress and helping someone make progress.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my flexibility and my ability to determine each student’s unique learning style are my strengths. I try to understand whether they learn best through examples, questions, or structured steps, and then adapt accordingly. My communication skills also help me explain concepts clearly and make sure the student fully understands the idea. I think the tutor should give the student lessons and skills that they can carry over to other subjects and outside the classroom, making them more confident in any environment they are in. I have always been passionate about education and the pursuit of knowledge, as the more you learn the more opportunities you have. Currently studying for a Bachelor of Engineering.
Expertise in Maths and Physics
Maths and physics can be challenging, but with the right approach, they become much easier to understand. Breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps, helps you see the bigger picture rather than just memorising formulas. I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs. My goal is to make these subjects more approachable and even enjoyable!
Skills Beyond the Classroom
Education is also about building essential life skills. Through my experiences as a high school basketball team captain and a school council member, I’ve developed leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities that translate directly into my tutoring. I understand the importance of confidence, adaptability, and dedication, and I want to help instil these qualities in my students, helping them grow both academically and personally.
