What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the opportunity to share my passion for mathematics with others. Mathematics, much like the world of commerce- which i am currently studying in uni- is built on a foundation of understanding intricate systems and patterns. Every time I help a student grasp a concept, I get an immense sense of satisfaction. Additionally, being in a sociable environment, where I can interact with and understand the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of different students, adds depth and value to my university experience.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My primary strength as a tutor is my ability to communicate complex mathematical concepts in a way that's relatable and understandable. Because I'm a commerce student, I have honed the skill of analyzing problems from various angles and breaking them down into simpler components, much like how we approach business case studies. Moreover, my sociable nature allows me to connect with students on a personal level, understanding their individual needs and learning styles. I believe in fostering a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor should be adaptable, recognizing and adjusting to the unique learning styles of each student. Able to establish a rapport and trust with the student is fundamental; they should feel seen, heard, and supported in their learning journey.
