To make them understand the importance of studying a particular subject. Make sure that they are not neglecting their studies and doing their maximum depending on their level of intelligence to the particular subject. (i.e. A student who is very smart for Sociology might not be that smart for Mathematics. I believe that the tutor should understand that at what level we have to except the student deliver the output without putting extra pressure on the child.
