I believe that any tutor or teacher has the potential to shape and inspire a student's future. Certain teachers from my high school years, in particular, my English Literature teachers, have served to inspire and shape me to the person I have become today. Teachers can be very much like a tour guide in a new destination - good teachers open the…

It would have to be that a tutor can teach a student a one on one lesson and help him improve his understanding about different ways to approach a maths or english problem which will in turn help the student extremely in the future. A tutor must be like a very smart class mate which doesnt give you the answer directly but instead takes him time to…
Building rapport with students and creating a welcoming, safe, and collaborative environment are likely the most important things a tutor can do to promote learning and progress. In such an environment, students feel free to ask questions, express their learning preferences, and simply enjoy being there and learning. My strengths as a tutor stem…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make them believe that no matter the circumstances they are in, they can achieve anything they desire. I think my main strength as a tutor is my patience when dealing with students and people in general. Moreover, I am able to dedicate myself fully to learn in order to teach others, should I…
I believe guidance and support in the right direction can be incredibly helpful. Back in 3rd grade I wasn't very good at math and felt very discouraged in class, but my tutor saw potential in me and encouraged me a lot. She taught me that being good at math isn't just about excelling at a subject, it's that being good at it gives you the freedom…
Offer the tools for them to solve the problem themself. Give them the understanding and knowledge to get to the answer rather than just giving them the answer. My strength might be my enthusiasm for the subject and a weakness might be that I loose track of time and might spend too long focusing on one area without allowing time to work on other…
I assert that successful tutors are able to build strong relationships with their students as it personalizes learning. Another thing is to teach to the student's strengths and minimizes the students weaknesses. Every student and their way of learning is different, so, as a tutor, one should be flexible according to the needs of the perplexed…
To be an outlet for comfortable one on one communication that may be inaccessible to a student in a classroom.
I aim to be a tutor who students won’t feel judged by, and feel as if they can communicate easily with me without fear. Creative thinking, I believe I am able to think outside of the box and come up with ways to figure out problems…
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to make sure they are doing effective goal setting. This includes things such as: understanding their current level, how they are going to improve, and making sure to measure their progress. This allows for the student to understand how they are benefitting from tutoring, and…
Give them confidence in their own abilities, particularly if they are having trouble in a particular area, for example Maths. Some of my strengths are that I work well with children and tend to be able to build a good rapport with them. I also have a strong sense of empathy for others which will help me to relate to the students and see issues…
The most important thing is for a tutor to help a student understand the concepts, rather than giving them answers, to help them towards understanding the work independently. I consider myself to be patient with my students as they learn at their own speeds, while providing them with the path to find the answer…

There are a variety of things that are considered essential for a tutor to provide to students. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to provide them with all the useful resources and adapt to the student's learning ability to suit their level of understanding. Help them succeed. I really do not think that there is anything more important than that. Tutoring is meant to be more beneficial to the student in one way or another, and exceeding a students grade is the best a tutor can do for a student. Mathematics would definitely be a strength. Another strength would be my relatability to the student in such…
The tutor works best by motivating students to push past their perceived limits, in order to achieve success, not just academically, but in every other field. I excel at interacting with children, which are one of the company's major customers. My good academic results also shows that I understand the teaching materials used, so I can pass on…
Henry was very happy with Hayden's style of tutoring. He found him clear and concise in the way he explained methods, and was teaching him the same way his teacher is at school. Whilst I was listening in the background I could hear that Hayden was very encouraging towards Henry which I'm sure gave him some confidence to tackle the next equation. I know that Hayden will leave more and more homework going forward, he was keen to get to know Henry as a person, identify his strengths and weaknesses first.
Chris is actually very happy with Shehara. He seems motivated. He's had two sessions with her and seems to like it so all good here.
Ally's tutoring is going well and Gopi is very nice. Ally's report was very positive and that makes me happy. I have spoken to Gopi about Ally's progress and informed her that we would like to extend Alexandra in Maths.
